Clark Walkers to Participate in the 2016 Alzheimer's Walk

Clark Foundation Hires New Vice President of Development and Executive Director

Western Michigan University Students Move Into Clark on Keller Lake

Clark has welcomed three Occupational Therapy students from Western Michigan University to live among the residents of Windsor Manor at Clark on Keller Lake.  These students have joined us as part of a 19 month long research project regarding the perceived attitudes of the aging and those of our younger generation.  This project is believed to be one of the first of its kind in the United States.  As the students moved in several local media outlets arrived at Clark on Keller Lake to learn more about the program and what lies ahead.  Click on the links below to see their stories.

Clark's Green Thumb, Audrey Beutler, Shares Her Secrets

Clark's own green thumb, Audrey Beutler, joined Rick Vuyst on Wood radio 1300 and 106.9 FM to share some of her secrets behind the beautiful Rose Garden at Clark.  Audrey has been one of the residents tending to the Rose Garden for years and her talent is evident when you see the beautiful garden this time of year.  Below is a clip of the interview.  Fast forward to 42 minutes into the segment to hear Audrey's secrets.

Clark's Culinary Team Wins Senior Chef Showdown

Congratulations to Clark's Culinary Team for taking 1st place in the 2015 Senior Chef Showdown.  Executive chefs from four leading senior living communities; Clark Retirement Community, Covenant Village of the Great Lakes, Maple Creek, and Holland Home competed for the name of Best Senior Chef in Grand Rapids.

Judges included: Amy Sherman, host of Grand American Brew Trail, Mark Kingshott, All in One Chef, and Rachel Ruiz, host of EightWest on WOOD TV8.  Commentator was local chef, Oliver Hale (Chef O).

Thanks to Covenant Village of the Great Lakes for hosting the event and congratulations again to Clark's dynamic culinary trio (Vince, Abby, and Nan).
