Multiple Ways to Give...And Receive

There are many ways to share your gifts to enrich the lives of seniors at Clark. The Foundation staff is eager to help you understand the tremendous commitment made to Clark residents and families, so you can choose a way that is personally meaningful to provide support.

Philanthropy should be a joy for those who receive as well as those who give. By enriching the lives of others, your life will be enriched as well.

Multiple gift options are outlined below. We encourage you to contact us or call the Foundation staff at (616) 452-1568 ext. 121 to discuss which method will work best for you. Monthly Giving

  • Authorize automatic monthly withdrawals via the bank through electronic funds transfer.
  • Change or cancel your donation at any time.
  • Gifts are tax deductible at year end.

Annual Giving

  • Send a check, call in a gift, or give online by clicking Donate to Clark
  • Pledge gifts that are spread over time and receive pledge card reminders.
  • Gifts are tax deductible at year end.

Gifts from Retirement Plans

The tax deduction of your charitable gift may offset the taxes you would pay upon withdrawal of the money.

Gifts through a Living Will or Trust

A portion of your estate will support organizations that are important to you.

Gifts of Life Insurance

  • Life insurance policies that are no longer needed can be a source for a gift.
  • They also may provide significant future tax savings.

Gifts of Securities or Stocks

  • Some gifts are exempt from capital gains tax.
  • A gift that is worth less than it originally cost may create a deductible loss as well as a deduction for charitable giving
