Clark Foundation
There are many ways to support Clark Retirement Community and its mission. A contribution of any size will help maintain and enhance Clark as it
adds meaning and value to the lives of residents.
Benevolent Care Fund
The Clark Commitment is a pledge to all long-term residents to provide services for the rest of their lives, even if their financial resources become
depleted due to longevity or care needs. The Benevolent Care Fund was established to support the Clark Commitment. Last year, more than 60 Clark residents
received over one million dollars from the Benevolent Care Fund. Contributions from individuals, churches, foundations, and organizations enable Clark to
provide residents with this financial assistance.
Memorial Gifts
Family and friends often contribute to Clark in memory of a loved one. Unless otherwise specified, memorial gifts are added to the Benevolent Care Fund.
The donor receives an acknowledgement and gift receipt. The family of the person being honored receives notification of the gift, but the amount of the
donation is not disclosed.
Recognition Gifts
Donations are made to Clark to honor an individual or couple; to recognize a significant event or occasion; or to pay tribute to a special caretaker or
staff member. Recognition gifts are added to the Benevolent Care Fund. The donor receives an acknowledgement and gift receipt. The person honored receives
notification of the gift, but the amount of the tribute is not disclosed.
Gifts for Capital Projects or Special Needs
Donors also contribute to special projects or programs that will enhance the facilities, activities or quality of life for Clark residents. Projects may
include the renovation of existing buildings and grounds at either campus; the construction of new spaces or buildings; as well as the creation or enhancement
of special programs.
